New Delhi (Lampe):- प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री जसवंत सिंह के निधन पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त किया है।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, ‘जसवंत सिंह जी ने पूरी लगन से हमारे देश की सेवा की, पहले एक सैनिक के रूप में और बाद में राजनीति के साथ अपने लंबे जुड़ाव के जरिए। अटल जी की सरकार के दौरान उन्होंने महत्वपूर्ण मंत्रालयों को संभाला और वित्त, रक्षा एवं विदेश मामलों की दुनिया में अपने श्रेष्ठ कामकाज की अमिट छाप छोड़ी। उनके निधन से अत्यंत दुखी हूं।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, ‘जसवंत सिंह जी राजनीति और समाज से जुड़े मामलों में अपने अद्वितीय दृष्टिकोण के लिए हमेशा याद किए जाएंगे। मैं विभिन्न आपसी वार्तालापों को सदैव याद रखूंगा। उनके परिवार और समर्थकों के प्रति मेरी गहरी संवेदनाएं हैं। ओम शांति।’
Jaswant Singh Ji will be remembered for his unique perspective on matters of politics and society. He also contributed to the strengthening of the BJP. I will always remember our interactions. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti.

Jaswant Singh Ji served our nation diligently, first as a soldier and later during his long association with politics. During Atal Ji’s Government, he handled crucial portfolios and left a strong mark in the worlds of finance, defence and external affairs. Saddened by his demise.
